Yarroway Mountain Press is a small independent press in its inaugural year. Our mission is to publish literary poetry by established as well as emerging contemporary writers. It is our desire to find ways in which to provide and re-establish connections between the literary world and readers who may not otherwise find reason to pick up a book of literary poetry.
In other words, we are here to join the efforts of many of today's poetry supporters in promoting and celebrating poetry back into the mainstream. To this end, we are dedicated to seeking out and publishing a diverse range of voices and themes.
The establishment of the press was made possible through a grant generously provided by The Research and Creativity Foundation at California State University, Chico.
The founding editor is Suzan Jantz.
